07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

The 4 lines into calipers fit fine, in every kit. But still you should have hose from rear pipe over the rear axle, at least 1. If you have Stabilitrak then 2 pipes+2hoses. I bought mine kit a 2y ago, maybe Goodridge offer only 4 pcs kit now.

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

This is the reason why I still haven't installed my kit. :) But I test fit with new brake lines with Goodridge hoses, and seems to be OK. Maybe 03+ may have problems with rear center line(over the rear axle).

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Intermittent ABS and Brake light on dash, especially in warmer weather. C0265 code, sometimes with others abs related codes. And activation in low speeds, but thats my fault, when I renewing front end, I forgot to clean sensors(before overhaul of front, no low speed activation). I can live...

    Spark plug wires, which ones?

Beware some delco stuff are repacked cheap stuff (advantage) Try to stick GM Genuine with delco. I ordered Delphi, and they were OEM Packard wires.

    Spark plug wires, which ones?

Also check Taylor, they used be made in UK, so can be also cheaper without duties.

    Spark plug wires, which ones?

These heat shield are maybe worth if you were running Long/Short Tubes manifold, as Alpha_Omega Yukon wrote. And he also wrote to stick with OEM. But friend have longtubes with MSD wires without heat shields, and it is OK.

    Spark plug wires, which ones?

My 0.2 cents, Go OEM Packard(Delphi, AC Delco). In case of tuning I would suggest Taylor wires, or MSD.

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

Hi folks, I see almost everyone used PowerStop brand. Did anyone used ACDelco New calipers https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=10617353&cc=1442911&jsn=19698 And Raybestos EHT Hybrid Pads and Specialty Truck Rotors, or R300 rotors? As I am not fan of reman calipers and drilled rotors...

Rustoleum or POR is fine for fence. In a car/truck/suv for frame. Not for for silky smooth paintwork, or sheet metal

I use loctite or teroson stuff, and it then came black or purple. You can see on plain steel without rust, no color change.
