Im in a tricky situation here. I want to add new set of wheels and tires to my 2003 suburban before I drop my truck using Belltech 34324 and 2508 kits (2/4 drop).
I have 17 inch z71 wheels without tires.
I dont just want to buy any tires since i dont really know if i will have any problems...
Just curious but I didn’t see what year the engine was but have you replaced the driver side valve cover, the original design clogged easily. Also I would second the idea of a catch can.
Ive been looking at the 2009, mostly because I would like the newest one I can get with a 6.0. But with that said Inwould consider an older model with a 6l if one came available at a better price. Iam also not familiar with thw 6l80 E trans that came in 2009, wonder how these compare with the...
The parts all work together to form the evap system. So if one part is malfunctioning the others parts can’t function as intended. Last time I was in your shoes with my 02 burb I replaced all the main components, including the vapor canister that was twenty years old. I wanted to start fresh and...
This is the second reply post I’ve seen where a supporting member squashes the OP question. The only reason we have posts to go back and reread is because people post questions and other try and answer them. There’s really no such thing as a new question. So should we all just reread old posts...
Allot answers here, I couldn’t read them all but I didn’t see any mention about the torque angle degrees tool for the head bolts. Maybe it was Idk but dont forget that.
I agree with blainebug. I recently added LED running lights to my step boards and tapped into the running lights and signal lights without a fuse. The circuit is already fuse protected.
And you are sure that the brake bulbs are on as if depressing the brake or are they the bulbs that illuminate when the headlights are turned on for night driving?
If theres larger debris inside the injectors, or build up of gunk then no amount cleaner you run through is going to do a very good job. The larger debris just cant get through the small injector holes.
So my Burb is getting ready to be sold, my next truck is probably going to be an Avalanche but a used one. I dont drive very much since i work from home but I do take the boat out sometimes and would like to use the truck for camping and road trips occasionally. My 03 burb has the 5.3 without...
You just need big jack stands, the small ones wont give you enough height to be able to remove the springs. While youat it replace the OG shocks, theres a kit on Rock auto where you can get aftermarket springs and shocks so you dont have to get the expensive factory replacement.
NVMD looks like...
Pulling the fuel rails is not a hard job really, look for and clean out the clogged injectors, and install new o rings. Ive seen some videos on youtube where guys will hook up a 9v battery and get them to open and spray cleaner through them.
So there are multiple ways these engines can loose oil pressure (at least on the 5.3) the easiest fix is the O ring, but also whats sometimes called a dogbone could be faulty and finally the oil pump itself has a gasket. It doesn’t seem likely that the latter two would fail, so hopefully it is...
Sorry I didn’t read all the posts to see if this was answered. I had this issue and was able to fix it. You need to remove the abs sensor under the truck and below the driver seat area. Then pry the lid off the unit and you will see a circuit board with lots of soldering. Take a solder gun and...
Check the exhaust manifold bolts, These are notorious for breaking loose and making noise. Last engine i pulled had two broken one on each side of the engine.
