I figured out why the back of my truck was riding like dog shit. The trailing arm bracket bolt pulled through the washer so the whole bracket was just loose. I welded the trailing arm bracket and shock extension brackets right to the rear end and now the truck rides like a dream
The strut spacers, do they go on the bottom or top of the strut? How much would you charge for the same ones you made last night? I’d love to easily be able to fine tune the height in the front without having to take apart the entire strut
Grabbed some 24’s today for $150. They need 4 tires but that’s fine because these are WAY too big with this drop. They’re 305/35/24. I’m going to run a 275/30 in the rear and 255/30 in the front. The truck in the pictures is sitting on the front tire and has over an inch to go down all around
I have no problems with the way the front rides. I have no spacers under the cup. My only issue with the front is the tires rub the fenders pretty bad so I bought trailer fenders to tub the front. I'm just procrastinating because I don't feel like moving the fuse box lol
Yes the crossmember has plenty of clearance for the panhard bar mount. The front rides beautiful but over big off camber dips, the tires rub the fender in the back and I’m only on a 255/50/20
My back does the exact same thing you described but also bottoms out. I was just thinking about the...
The back is starting to ride like total crap. Something bottoms out hard over dips. Not sure if it's the shock bottoming out or the rear end hitting the frame but it's starting to get frustrating. I'm ready to put the stock suspension back in the truck because I don't feel like having to buy...
I added a fuse box behind my ipad in my dash. I didn't want to add go looking all over the place for constant and switched sources. It has 6 constant and 6 switched fuses
Just to update the above, I got under the truck on a 4 post lift and found out one of the bags wouldn't deflate. Cut the line going to it and everything and still had 30psi in it. Took a 3/8" drill bit to it and fixed the swaying issue but now the rear bottoms out
I have the same issue. At first it was my panhard bar mount on the rear end hitting the frame. I cut the section of frame out and it went away for a while but it recently came back. Everything is tight and all the bushings are new
Does anyone happen to know the size and thread pitch of the third row bolts? I misplaced (aka threw away) my third row bolts and now need 2 of them. Need to know size so I can go to Home Depot and get longer ones. Thanks guys
