    Now the calipers are getting new hose lines also . They for sure are originals. But I'm stuck on should I change calipers. Fronts rusty but some black paint left and rear are aluminum but oxidized but they look like they're okay. The line that let go was driver's side over back tire behide...

    It's a wild thought but my 2006 was just updated and it changed alot of how it works from shifting rpm to it removed a miss from the idle . Shifting down holds now to 5000 rpm before it hits 3rd .. 5000 rpm in second gear is 70 mph . Ya before it did it was all 4000 rpm on down shift.. so either...

    Is it common for GM dealerships to want to install two and three-year-old batteries? Is that normal ? Maybe they magically think they don't sulfate sitting on a shelf.. or there magic batteries.     So next time you send car or truck in to GM dealership to change battery .. Look close you might just be getting a 2-3 year old Batteries . So you can cook all sulfate off and go replace it with another 2-3 year old battery couple years later . They will say I think you need a new alternator too...
