That's what I was afraid of. I was really hoping somebody just had one laying around.
The part number for the spacers or "plates" as they call them is 15916756
The cheapest I found them online was $22.63 shipped on gmpartsnow.com
Apparently I'm going to need the RHR gasket type piece like the one pictured and two of the "plates". I can find the plates online but not the longer black piece.
This is the piece I can't find any info on. LHR is pictured but I need the RHR
And two of these "plates" as they call them.
So I've either misplaced or didn't have it to begin with, but I went to mock up my escalade roof rack the other day and found I am missing some parts....
I'm missing the RHR piece between the roof and end cap (pictured is the LHR).
Is this something I can order by itself? Is there a part...
I don't think it'd be a bent axle since it doesn't do it all the time, just when I hit a bump/dip or I can make it do it by slightly jerking the wheel.
I agree that the next step should be an alignment. I'm going to try to get my new tires mounted first though.
Nope, can't feel it in the wheel.
I do believe my ISS is making some noise but I haven't read where it causes anything but noise. Either way, I plan on eventually replacing it as well but wondering if I should do that before or after the alignment.
Well I've put on new belltech street performance shocks at all four corners, new jounce stops in the front and new sway bar end link bushings in the front. All of this helped a little but the problem is still there. I've had three different sets of wheels and tires on it and it stays the same...
Well I got a pretty good deal on a full set so I jumped on it and got them installed last Saturday. It definately helped, especially with the rattling feeling over multiple little bumps but it didn't fix my boat sway. I have another thread about that. I also installed new jounce stops hoping...
Bagged on 24x9-10 on the front and 24x15 in the rear with a crazy cammed and turbo 6.2.
All white outside with a red hot rod interior. ALL red.
Basically, just take it to Drops R Us and let them have at it
I think I'm leaning towards comfort this go around, especially since it's bone jarring now. Although I'd hate for it to feel squishy or sloppy when I take corners at speed.
From what I can gather, the correct belltech street performance shock number for use with djm lower a-arms is 10103B and 2410FF for the rear. Any discrepancies there?
After reading great things about billstein shocks, I'm somewhat torn now. The part numbers I have found for them are 24-013284...
Great info guys!
Whiteout/Austin, are you using drop arms in the front? If so, do you have the part number for the front shocks?
I just ordered new jounce stops and hoping to get new shocks and an alignment before I put my new tires on.
I'm not positive on what's been done in the rear, or even sure what exactly to look for honestly. I did the free travel mod years ago and it did help. I'll try to get under it and snap a couple pictures for this thread if it would help. What is the correct kit for the lowered a arms?
I HAVE to get my ride better and might as well start with shocks right?
I'm not positive what kit was used, how it was installed or anything other than they did use the drop arms in front so I assume it's a 3-5 kit....and the ride is far from good.
I found a set of street performance...
I know there are quite a few Intermediate Steering Shaft parts numbers out there but does anybody know the latest and greatest? Hopefully with any and all kinks worked out of it. I might be replacing mine soon but want to make sure which one to order.
