u got oil on your air filter? like a k&n or something? clean your mass air flow sensor if you do, and do the throttle body service. fuel filter is a good ides too. if none of that fixes it...its probably a fuel pump.
i didnt change the cage. i moved the cage down. ill take some pics of it installed.

also i work at chevy and got the bezel for about $110 including tax. a few days later i found one laying around and gave it...
im running 295/35/24 with no rubbing and no trimming. imo the 295/35/24 looks better. my fiance has a 08 with a 2/3 on 305/30/26 and that required a lot of trimming.
i just did mine. no pics of it. but its pretty easy. i removed the cage and slotted the holes with a round file so it would go down. and also cut the clips off the hvac unit and instead slotted the holes on that and used screw to hold it in. then used a dash kit for a 07-09 tahoe, cut the mounts...

get an alignment...problem solved. i have done 3 of these 2/3 drops and only one had the lights come on. after alignment it was fixed. btw im a GM tech
