it wont work. the splines on the column are different. you need the whole column from an 03+ if you want that wheel. but the airbags in 03+ are 2 stage as 02 and older are single stage. so your airbag will no longer work.
the 2500 keys are the same as the 2" drop keys u have now. you would need to get the 3" djm lower control arms to go lower without ride quality suffering. the rear either cut some springs or bag it.
drop keys make your ride quality suffer. since spindles only move the wheel hub up the front end is basically stock geometry and stock length shocks. go with belltech sp shocks all around or bilsteins. i have belltech and ride is good. use helper bags in the rear springs for towing.
u have something else going on if you put on ltz 20s and the ride is not good. my wife and i both have ltz 20s on our 01 and 03 tahoes. been on since stock height. one is 2/4 and other is 3/6. both ride great stock or lowered.
it is normal after a drop. but i do believe the djm instructions for the 3" drop lower control arms say 3 turns in on the tie rod ends will get you close.
Not sure how much. But it is noticeable. My wife's 02 has spindles and I have lower control arms on my 03. We have same wheels and tires. Hers are about flush with the fenderlip and mine are set in some. Would have to get a plumb bob and measure.
yep. 35% with a limo visor strip. front windows are limo with 35% and the rest is limo over factory tinted glass.
i was just out driving it. love the way it rides. i take back what i said about riding almost like stock. cuz even stock kind of sucks. its better than stock. very smooth ride for...
Got me another Tahoe a couple months ago. Managed to pick up an 03 2wd with 145k for $4500 with no major problems. Got an HD Hood first day I had it. It was rollin stock 16's painted black so I got some LTZ 20's then ordered a 3/6 drop with Belltech SP shocks from Tony. Installed everything a...
the oil pickup tube is the oring that seals the pickup tube to the pump. very common on these trucks with those miles. i normally do it when i do oil pan gaskets. customers probably never even notices better oil pressure.
