What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yes they do... it took less than two weeks of ownership and both my boys christened the weathertechs, one 16 oz Ice tea, and one bottle of chocolate milk... I'm so glad they came with the truck, I know I wouldn't drop the coin on them even though I know I should.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Today, I replaced one of my missing Lug nut covers... with one I found in a parking lot... :)

2007 Retired Police Tahoe oil pressure sensor 20 mins.

If its in the same location as my 95 Tahoe, it was a quick and easy fix, it was blind on the backside of the engine, did mostly by feel.

    $1500 stupidness

Hit up local dealerships and ask who they use. Alot use mobile paint guys, who mix on the spot and paint everything/anything. $1500 is too high, I'm pretty sure you can get the entire bumper replaced for less than that.. ;)

    Exhaust manifold...

I agree, it might not be "right" but it works, and it's not really a "jerry rig" now the real question I have, why did GM put all these wonderful threaded holes on the block...

    Dome Lights stay on

Maybe a door switch? but I imagine you'd have a door open warning on the dash. Does the radio stay on until you open door?

    2007 Tahoe Z71 w/ 200k+ Road Trip?

I guess it depends on the road trip, On a cost basis as a single or double occupant trip with no major need to haul something, I'd rent an econobox up to a midsize just because you'll save that alone in Gas costs. If it's a family ski trip with tons of luggage, then probably stick with my own...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Changed the oil last night, the old stuff was dark, who knows when it was changed.. Also christened my new concrete driveway when the oil missed my 15qt pan, yup 15qt and I still missed.. Fixed my Exhaust leak...used a DORMAN 917-107 Exhaust Manifold Clamp Also toyed with some polish and wax...

    Exhaust manifold...

So I had grand plans of a how-to video.. but honestly it's pretty simple, the only complicated part of my install seems to be the grounding lug that was installed in one of the holes.(I think it's normally on the back of the block) My two front right studs were broken off so I installed this...

    Exhaust manifold...

I just got this in the mail today.. DORMAN 917-107 Exhaust Manifold Clamp Link: http://a.co/d/6Cr4S35 Make sure you order the correct one, they make one for front left(right rear), Front right(left rear) and then for middle studs as well. Look on youtube, pretty amazing fix, for a lot less...

    Srs code reader

I know mine has the open recall from GM regarding "old" airbags with no current remedy. I wonder if your CEL has something to do with that.

    Intermittent starting

Back when I had my 95, I had start/stall issues for a while chased it, replaced fuel pump, wore out my starter, went through numerous relays. Check your oil pressure sensor, 0 pressure reading will keep the fuel pump from running, mine was intermittent and was killing me.

Wet Passenger Floor - 07 YukonXL with sunroof

Well my "elbow" is just missing so there is just a hard plastic tube sticking out of the firewall. Knowing my luck, it'll probably be something else....

    Transfer Case oil recommendation

I'm curious which Lucas oil to use? Our mechanic at work swears by it, he maintains our AWD Savana vans, but can only put in the company spec oil. Watched him put in a TC and a front Diff... at least I know it's not the end of the world if I have to do that.

Wet Passenger Floor - 07 YukonXL with sunroof

Well it's wet again... not coming from the same spot... time to start digging. how important is the L shaped elbow that comes out of the firewall and drains? I haven't found a replacement for that yet. Well part is 15-34717 apparently I've read a couple places that without it water can drip...

    Rattle noise

Tin-y sounds can sometimes be a heat sheild I think bushings would be a bit more knocking or clunking. See if you can get someone to stand on the running board or just inside the passenger door and start rocking the vehicle.. then poke your head around til you hear something

Backup camera location, anybody mount high up underneath the spoiler?

Well there are plenty of Flush mount style cameras available, I'm definitely adding a backup cam, and I regularly drive a work vehicle with a high mount(I like the perspective better than low) I'm also considering lane change/mirror cameras, just not sure how to integrate them, might be awkward...

What exactly, do the vent caps, vent?

    Looks great, nice touch

What exactly, do the vent caps, vent?

The rubber ones underneath also vent the vehicle when you have the A/C or heat on..(it's where all the farts go, hence all the crud ;) ) The cosmetic ones on the outside probably help a bit, I don't imagine that putting the smooth covers on would affect airflow tremendously

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Major work today... received wife's Pink key FOB... and another blank key. Also finished LED interior ceiling lights and installed LEDs up in the front corner markers, I was going to wait since I want to do LED headlights as well, but one of my corner markers was burned out, jury is out on the...
