I guess a really simple way would be to run a new set of wires with a relay. Tie the relay to the 12V(on the DRL)
12V to the Switch pole on the relay
12V constant on one pole
Bulb +Red line to the other pole (two lines one for each bulb)
Bulb -Ground to a suitable ground (at each bulb)

Yes I kinda wish I had with our van.. They paid us offered it for $900, then it sold for a lot at auction, of course it had mechanical problems not listed on the auction.. I could have made more than the 900... but I wasn't wanting to deal with the headache of a Salvage title.
Its Called a "vent valve" or Pressure Vent, Pressure Valve in the Silverado/Sierra GM part 13596856 <-silverado part#
If you pull the cover back there, it might be stamped with the part number.

I can't vouch for them, I just messaged the first one that I came...
Fixed the A/C drain leak(someone screwed the blower cover screw into the wrong place(see other post)
Started my LED Conversion, Vanity's, License plate and markers for now..
Proabably been mentioned but first who straps a car like that... and secondly you need new tires anyway those are checking badly all those cracks in the side wall..
Also BTW nice car. ;)
In another car I've owned people complained of similar issues, unable to fill tank. it had to do with the gas tank vent being blocked.. sometimes by a spider or gunk.
Thank you for the suggestions.. I found the culprit, thank goodness for small miracles, I don't need a large job yet on this new to us vehicle.
apparently when someone reinstalled the Blower cover/Sound cover they missed the factory hole and made their own. So I'll let it dry and seal it up, I'm...
Also keep in mind that as your overall principle is reduced your interest each month will be less for example $7000 balance will have a larger interest payment than a $5000 balance, either way paying early and paying additional towards your principle is an excellent financial choice.
Its Definitely water, tastes like water too ;) as much as it sucks I'm going to run a couple days with no A/C and also pull the bottom cover off the blower assembly thing(sorry forgot the name) and going to see what I can from there.
How deep do people clean into the drain hole, I'll get...
Yup, I've searched Just looking for more guidance.
So Typically a wet pass floor is one of a few things.
I was able to get to the drain on the firewall from below the truck.
The drain comes straight out of the firewall(no 90 degree elbow in place)
I fished a pipe cleaner into it about 3-4...
One TIP...somehow let the next owner know you did this...put a note in the owners manual, put a sign on the fuel tank.. something.
I had a 95 tahoe with the big tank, had to drain and wrestle that thing(still with gas in it, ran out of cars and cans to fill up) after we got the tank out we...
Not sure your talking Pickups or SUVs Just picked up and 07 Yukon XL SLT with 168k for $11k, +$120 for the alternator I put on yesterday.. lets hope it doesn't bleed for a while yet.
Now the same Year Sierra/Silverado Crew would run me 13-17k around here
Yes luckily seems this truck was fairly well babied, garage kept etc... only one crack in the dash, and even the leather on the driver seat is still intact.. This was just a sad moment, too soon after purchase... now to track down the leak that's wetting my passenger floorboard (Sunroof and...
Yes they are good, took my "old" 04 Deville to them for diagnosis they were fair, offered a free shuttle ride(which was worth at least the diagnostic fee) I just noticed when on the GMpartsdirect site that they run that as well.
Swap the coil to another cylinder see if the misfire moves. If it doesn't swap the injector. I'm having a similar issue with another car I own..(Deville) It's a long road of trouble shooting for me.
EDIT: nevermind just saw the recent update..
Got up yesterday AM, used the remote starter loaded up, go in dash was dying and was greeted with"check charging system"
Well $120 later and a new 160amp Alternator is installed.. had hard time convincing wife not to go ballistic since we just bought it 4 days ago. I don't blame the dealer, but...
How long have you had the Spyders? I got some for my Deville, and after a year they are trash? I'm hoping maybe these are better quality, they look great.
Just an idea, since it started working better when you shut everthing off. A lot of times, my phones will stumble when it's own wifi is on, while I'm travelling it probably spots a hotspot that has the same name as one you have connected to before ie "linksys" or something like that. and in that...
