I went from a 2011 Escalade, to a 2014 Suburban. The power difference is staggering. I can't believe how weak the Suburban is compared to the Escalade. Even my older 2003 6.0L Denali had excellent power. How do you wake up the 5.3L?
I just drove 2000 miles all highway. The 3% error is definitely there. It's very noticeable from 90-100 MPH. Especially within the trucks analog and digital display. This has NOTHING to do with the GPS unit. Even my other GM car, the analog and digital speedo's are way off.
And this...
Because I move my GPS from car to car, and never seen such a difference before.
But anyway, considering tires wear 1/4" from new to old, how much of a difference is that ?
Mine is reading under 3%. The GM tolerance is 5% according to the dealer, but I can't get it in writing from a GM spec sheet. Only the word of the service manager.
I loose 25% fuel mileage with E85, and I'm at the station 25% more often. Therefore E85 has to be at least 25% cheaper for me to use it, which it is NOT. E85 is the total American scam.
I would upgrade the pads before going crazy with bigger parts. I agree, as my Escalade is a monster, but doesn't stop very well. One day, I'll play with pad compound.
Hi,
Looking for Suburban, Tahoe, Avalanche factory OEM 20's, for my 2013. I think 2007-2014 20's are the same. Prefer chrome, but will deal with polished or painted for the right price..
I will cover shipping for the right deal.
Just brought a 2013 LTZ, only because the 2015-16's are so vibrant & buffeted. Got a very rare one. Black diamond paint, with retractable running boards. Interior mint. Exterior only a few scratches. Only thing I didn't like was 2000hrs on the motor, because he used it as an airport...
On my 2003, I recessed the controller into the dash board. It looked like a factory option when I was done. I don't see any locations I can do that on my 2013.
