    Planning on replacing tpms

I can imagine you try the calibration again when you do get back to it. This time around try letting air in/out instead of using the calibration tool and see if this resolves the problem. If not, as I mentioned before; move the LR tire to another position and see if it follows the tire sensor...

I understand this is an old thread. Can someone post a photo of the rear Eibach 3882.312? Please.

Yeah. Move the LR tire to a new position and see if it follows the tire or the LR position.

    Planning on replacing tpms

Thanks guys. Re-read all your post(s). For me the tool doesn't make sense unless I own a shop and am being paid to sync sensors all day. Called my local chevy dealer and they'll sync em "free just bring the truck in with the wheels mounted." Now that doesn't mean they wont slice up my CV...

what type of HID Lights is everyone using on their NBS YD

ivin74 - Good question as I haven't seen much on this either. Maybe ezdaar can post a few links with his expert searching skills. Purchased a set of aftermarket projector housings off ebay for around $120 that were already designed to fit my vehicles. Couldn't be happier with the way they...

    Planning on replacing tpms

Yeah I caught the just of that - thanks. Just not comprehending the cost/value whereas you bring even your aftermarket sensors pre-installed up to GM/Chevy or anyone with the tool and flash them for free or next to nothing. I must be missing something here. Interested though because I have a...

    Planning on replacing tpms

Interesting. I'd have to imagine you could bring you vehicle into the dealer for rotate and they would perform this free.. or maybe they would just perform for a small fee? Very slick though.

    Passlock sensor and ignition

The 3 pin wiring harness that plugs into the top of the sensor - Follow it and see if it's pinched someplace within the column. Had this issue and married it down to the corroded pins inside the harness and ended up soldering them to the assembly and liquid electrical tape to seal everything up.

what type of HID Lights is everyone using on their NBS YD

Any reference or tips for setting the distance (up/down/left/right). Say if you park 5' from a wall and measured the cutoff to the ground and width of the 'half moons'. That make sense? PS: Using generic 55w WYH stamped in the Yukon with aftermarket halo/projection housings (Illustrated...

    Differential Oil Change 04 Tahoe

Not gonna lie changing the 05's rear diff lube for the first time in 183K was a PITA. The diff cover was so corroded I had to buy a replacement. Made the best effort with BC, CC, SG, MS, RB's, PK's, SP and finally a WDS. Been coating with rust-o-leum in an attempt to limit the road salt from...

Question about grounding on rear wiper motor

Before anything else confirm the voltage to the wiring harness you're plugging the motor to (if you haven't already). You can touch your voltmeter to any silver screw on that gate as it should be grounded. Hmm, re-check the fuse as well. It wouldn't be impossible to have gotten a faulty...

Are Tahoes/Yukons easy to steal? How to protect from theft?

4 kill switches total in the yukon and tahoe. Changed the color of the ignition leads from the solenoid and ran relays and switches connected to the horns/air-horns. If the alternate color ignition wires are bridged or even the correct key is turned before flipping the switch.. it honks. The...

Question about grounding on rear wiper motor

In my own experience I had to trace the ground from the drivers side fog light up to the rear wiper/washer motor. After replacing it's ground wire I was able to once again use my rear wiper and fog lights. Are you also experiencing any issue when using your fogs?

    LED z71 fog lights

You'll probably get more light from aftermarket LED fogs than your stock halogen but it will be comparable. There are loads of them on ebay that'll fit either the circular or horizontal cut-out specific to Tahoe and yes people been doing this for years. Should be able to search this forum and...

    LED z71 fog lights

The problem with LED fog lights is they don't seem to penetrate far as 55wHID. Anyone else notice this or do a side-by-side comparison?

    Four wheel drive issues.

Adirk - I had a similar issue with my Tahoe and it turned out to be 4WD shift actuator. All the buttons operated indicating I was shifting into 4hi yet it fell like only my front's were locking in but no power. Even Auto 4WD seemed better than 4hi. In 4hi your Tahoe should be able to pull a...

    new leveling kit

After some heavy discussion with a 'shockwarehouse' professional awhile back I went with: Front: 24-186643 F4-BE5-C153-H0 Bilstein 5100 Offroad Racing Rear: 24-187237 F4-BE5-F265-H0 Bilstein 5100 Racing Offroad I have no complaints thus far after 12K miles other than they didn't seem to be a...

    New Halo headlights

TheAutumnWind- The 'Depot' model you sent indicates fitting the Denali meanwhile I have Z71 & SLT models. ---- As for the Spyder brand, I was wrong. The recently purchased for (Tahoe) are "Dynamik - model HGM053" and the Yukon is "Sonar - model SK3301". I gave the poor ebay seller a...
