I have a built 12 and Dana 44. I was thinking since so much of the front end needs to be replaced on mine what if I used these? Locking hubs, lockers and geared with 4.56 or 4.88. I will check tomorrow. I'm afraid 4.88 would be too aggressive with a 35" tire
What are yall using for wiring? On the newer stuff you can wire it into the stock ECU and have it control it. I like that because it is almost fail proof. If fans from an 05 Tahoe will work, fans from a 93-02 Camaro and Trans Am will work. I ran them on the 1500 HD I had and they worked great...
Right now my truck sits exactly 34" front and rear. It is a 1996 Tahoe with 131k miles. I am wanting to lift it either 2" or 3" in the front and 3" or 4" in the back. It will have to ride as good or better than stock, I would need it to tow alot better, have more stability, and clear a 33" tire...
Nevermind the Whipple sold. So I'll need just an NA tune

What mods besides a tune are needed for power and economy and how much extra power will these gains net me total? I love the truck but I wished it had...
I'm curious about having my Tahoe tuned. I'm considering a Whipple. Will the stock ECU be able to handle it if I ditch the Whippletronics? Also if I keep it NA was would a tune benefit me powerwise? I'm more familiar with the Gen III stuff so I am interested in bumping the power in this truck.
I know on the newer stuff people ditch the Whipple electronics and run bigger injectors with a tuned stock ECU. A friend has the kit and I'm considering buying it because an additional 100hp and whatever torque would be incredible. Anyone have some info?
Google them. I don't have any pictures of the other than the whole truck on my phone. These do not have the insert that They come with. IMO they look 100000 times better without it. Pm me your cell and I will send you the pictures I have. If you're interested
I have a set of 26" Shooz 007 wheels in a 15mm offset and a Chevy 6 lug bolt pattern. The tires are a 275/25/26. The wheels and tires have less than 1500 miles on them. They came on a truck I just bought and I'm going staggered 22s with a narrowed rear. 3,300 let me know.
I will give you credit you have aggressive marketing pretty much down pat. There isn't a post on here where you can possibly promote yourself or what you have to offer that you don't seize the opportunity to do so like a Mike Vicky pitbull on a Chihuahua. The thread I started about what works...
Tony I've had this conversation with you before. My issue is since DJM the Mega million dollar manufacturer of lowering suspensions that they are why haven't they done more RD to correct their shit spring rates? You're using their TB springs right? If its the end all be all why haven't they...
In my experience what rides good on a Tahoe or Yukon doesn't ride good or work so well on Suburban and XLs. I tried everything that "works" on the Tahoe and Yukons on my XL. Ended up doing spindles 5305 coils air bags and Bilstein shocks. It was the only thing that rode right. IMO and my...
No one has been able to answer this and I can't find an answer on line. Front right side wheel on my wife's Yukon has about 1/4" or 1/8" of play top to bottom when wiggling the wheel. Does it need new bearings
Funny but true. I treat this forum like a kid treats taking off a band aid. Just a little at a time. Too much at once and it becomes painful. Since I'm so curious by nature I can get lost on forums with a wealth of factual knowledge. This one I get lost in the opinions of people only trying to...
