    IPOD Converter Help

Yes I sincerely believe a "girl" could do it. As for why I'm getting rid of it, I bought an app radio and no longer need it. It is a simple install, more or less plug and play. There is a video or two on you tube about it. Not too tough.

    2003 Yukon auto transmission issues?

Dang, sorry about that. Dealer maybe, but other than that, I don't know what to tell you. If you can find a general mechanic that has done alot of transmission work, he might have a connection to a transmission vendor who will loan him a trans control unit. That was something I did in our shop a...

    2003 Yukon auto transmission issues?

Take it to a transmission shop, they can run the transmission independently and test each individual shift solenoids, it sounds like the 1-2,3-4 solenoid may be sticking, or possibly be bad. I could be wrong on the solenoid thing, but that sounds like whats going on. Good luck!

    Bose Speakers

Infinity reference 6032, 2ohm. I used them in my front doors, and they sound good and the price isn't too bad. Which ever speaker you choose, make sure it's 2 ohm to be compatible with the Bose system.

Someone 'splain to me the point of dangling cajones from a truck....

Around here you generally see them on diesel trucks, along with the dumbass stacks in the bed. What the hell is the deal with those? Im wondering if they just wake up one morning and decide to ruin the bed of a perfectly good truck for no apparent reason.

    PCM or ECM

+1 I had the same problems with my 03 Denali, and it turned out to be the bcm. The dealership where I bought it from took care of it after I bought it, so I got very lucky, otherwise I would have paid through the nose to have them diagnose and fix it. They had it back in the shop four times in...

Rattle in frontend and hearing air from brake pedal??

With the brakes, it sounds like you need a new vacuum booster. Possibly a new pedal mount or if it's possible bushings on the mount. As for the rattle, I'm stumped, but did you check the cv joint for play? Could also possibly be wheel bearings/ hub assembly.

    Rear heat control module question

All mine did Before I changed the module was blow cold air, now I have hot and cold. It does get cooler when idling, but as soon as I give it a little gas it circulates warmer coolant into the core. I don't know if that's the same problem you have or a variable, but try taking the cover off the...

    Rear heat control module question

Thanks for the reply, but I did the install yesterday. All I did for a relearn process was to pull the hvac/ evcm fuse under the hood. Then waited about a minute or so and re installed the fuse and started the vehicle, let it go thru the so called process and it's now good to go. It definitely...
