This thread I started has some pics: http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/got-some-new-shoes.97748/ (check both pages for all the pics)
I've had ZERO rubbing since I put these on. Very happy with them. Not sure exactly how much gap is left, but with the wheels turned there's not much. I can...
In a dream world I'd take the mounting base section from the 1A mirrors and the rest of the parts/plugs from a 2500HD mirror. Not sure if anything would line up though and not willing to risk the $$ finding out.
Not to just jump in on this.. but I am.. I've had my share of Britax seats over the years and I've never seen one solely dedicated to only using LATCH so this made me curious. From the Britax website is shows a seatbelt being used in a video...
Yep. I'd use it all the time. In the winter months I'd lock my key in the car so I could snowboard with reckless abandon, and in the summer months I would lock the key and phone in the car so I could raft/kayak with reckless abandon.
I think you can install it anywhere you'd like (on the door like Fords, or I've seen pictures of people putting them on in the inside of their gas door or under the windshield wiper) since I'm pretty sure they are battery operated and only held on by tape. If memory serves me correctly, I...
My XL Denali can close with a kick. Comes in handy when I've got 400 grocery bags on my arms and I'm not near strong enough to lift them up to push the button.
I went with the 6k and I think it matches the headlights. Looks like you ended up going the 6k route as well, I don't think you'll be disappointed with them!
It's been over a year since I changed the bulbs in my fog lights, but as I remember it, I just crawled under the vehicle and was able to reach up and switch them out. Nothing had to be removed. I have skinny arms, so maybe that helped?
I can also confirm that the 2018 module works in my 2016 as well. Only parts needed are the module and the new plug. Super easy to switch out and was probably faster than doing the magnet delete.
New module on the left, old on the right.
I've got a '16 XL Denali and I get very similar results as what you have posted. Very pleased with the fuel mileage of this giant SUV. I dropped a bit when I put on larger tires, but I'm waiting to get a tune back from Black Bear to get my lost mpg back, extra power, and smoother shifting. Win-win.
Still waiting for the new module. I got a notification on December 4th that needgmparts.com was out of stock and they would get more in 4 more days. Assuming it will be shipped out tomorrow, or sometime early this next week.
Just placed my order for both the parts. I'll let you know once the parts arrive and I get them installed.
Even though my charging pad IS working with the 'magnet delete' mod I will get more piece of mind once the correct parts are installed.
I haven’t ordered ant of the parts yet. This is from rdgilmore67 over on the cadillacforums:
“When installing the new connector, the pins on the wires had a little "nub" sticking out on one side that wouldn't allow me to slide it into the new connector. I took a small pliers and just squeezed...
I haven’t seen this posted here yet, but there seems to be positive reviews on other forums about purchasing a 2018 charging module and installing that in the 2015-2017 vehicles. I have not tried this personally (yet), so your results may vary.
Purchase charging module, part # 13521066 from...
