I watched a couple of you tube videos about this company in Florida that converts new Suburbans and Yukons adding a Brand new Duramax diesel with an Allison automatic. They are rated at one ton Costs about maybe 135k name of the company is Duraburb. I just thought I would throw that out there.

Yeah, they have been doing that for years. I saw one of their videos that showed off an Escalade that they put a Duramax in.

$135k one could purchase a Suburban and a Sierra 2500 HD. Actually make them both Denali's even.

I wouldn't go the $135k route even if I were a millionaire. But I would definitely consider a $30k NNBS Duraburb Suburban if I towed at all.

What is the advantage of the Duramax engine? I look at the specifications. The Duramax engine has lower HP than the existing 6.2 liter producing 420 HP. Is the advantage of the Duramax the higher torque of the engine? Just curious.

Really cant kill a diesel.... (unless you work with guys like i do) the torque in those engines alone is crazy. With slight tuning/tweaking/mods the diesel engine will outlast/perform a gasser for years. Diesel fuel used to be cheaper also but it has leveled out over the last few years but gas mileage is close to double of any gas motor out there.
