Roof marker lights
I'm curious as to why you wouldn't use the Chevy light pattern vice the Ford pattern? Chevy has 2 outer lights, then they put 3 lights clustered together in the center. Ford and Dodge have all 5 lights equidistant across the roof line I've installed quite a few of these in the past on... -

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?
can someone explain the HD hood thing to me? I've read the sticky, but still don't understand the difference would this apply to my Esky? My hood has a few spots of damage where the clearcoat is going to start peeling anyways, so I'm not adverse to just putting a new hood on and painting- Tylus

got the new sparkplugs installed. stumble/rough idle is gone here are the old plugs I pulled out. 100,000 mile plugs my butt! gap was on average 0.080...vice the 0.060 they were supposed to be if platinum tip, or 0.040 if they were iridium tip (most likely since they're cheapo AC Delco). Esky Backup Camera Install
used the 3/4" hole saw that came with my camera. very easy. pulled the interior trim off the rear hatch and did some measureing. there is a perfect spot for it interior under the hatch handle. made sure of the spot, then taped it off and drilled. make sure to tape off the area to prevent...- Tylus

fixed my rough idle with new plugs...100,000 mile plugs my butt! Esky has 65k miles and the AC Delco plugs looks wore out. Much smoother idle now- Tylus

there is always this setup: Rearview Mirror LCD Backup Camera although, I would use a different camera. I hate that style! I have the OEM Ford version of that on my Excursion. Video feeds to the headunit and the rearview mirror. I actually like having the screen in the rearview mirror...- Tylus

Strangely this "fully loaded" rig didn't have a backup camera. So I just rectified that today. Used a generic eBay camera with wireless RF transmitter because I was lazy and didn't want to route wire the entire cab length. Very happy with the decision. super easy to clean the haze out...not so much to get all the water out. I had to use a blowdryer for 10-15 minutes each headlight. I can't believe GM/Caddy made such a convoluted headlight! WTH is with that design?- Tylus

cleaned the insides out of the headlights using denatured alcohol and DI water. stupid things had hazed over inside of course didn't get all the water out unfortunately, so blew a DRL in 1 side, and a blinker in the other. $13 later and now I have all working bulbs and re-dried the heads...- Tylus

thx guys. I wasn't sure about the NGK's being good or not. I could have grabbed the AC Delco's for $2.30 a plug...but I opted for the $4/plug NGK's with "double platinum" whatever that means. There was a upgraded AC Delco for $8/plug, but was starting to sound all super fancy. I'm used to...- Tylus

check out a slightly newer one with the 6.0! I'm a Ford convert. Always had Fords...this is actually my first GM product since my 1971 C-10 pickup I had 15yrs ago The 6.0 motor sold me on converting. It just oozes power. Not a torque beast like my 6.8L V-10 is...but she sure can accelerate...- Tylus
