Those are NICE! And entry level prices at $750 lol
I will weld up something similar for 1/10 that price. Maybe if I find one used...
So far so good. I drove 1200 miles last month with them on. No issues. They’re a good entry level LED bulb
for 2018+ lights on 15-17 models:
the Y91 schematic on page 1 shows the LTZ models control voltage to the LED vice just straight 12v from battery in the -Y91
Maybe install the work-around harness and then put a voltage reducer (technical name lol) on the LED power feeder line? A little...
installed a 2.5" leveling kit today. raised the front 2.25" initially. Going to drive around and let it bounce around and settle a bit. See what it ends up like in a week. Then get the alignment done.
Pretty happy with it
Oh they’re aware. They want $40 to unlock it
Nowhere is this stated on their site. I had to call and dig through 2 “techs” to figure it out.
And now to boot, their Fusion software is broken. I’ve had my tuner for a week and still haven’t been able to tune my rig. Edge customer support sucks
Found one virtually brand new on Marketplace for $200. Normally about $500 new. Verified with Edge it was the correct model. Verified it was unlocked...bought it.
And have spent the last 2 days fighting to update it and program my Suburban. Boils down to Edge themselves. According to Edge...
Picked up an Edge Evolution CS2 for only $200. Guy was trading in his 2017 Silverado.
I only have MAC computers, so searching for a Windows unit so I can update the unit and test on the 'Burb
I’ll look again. But last year when I put the mirrors on there were no pins in the body harness connector. The doors didn’t have the wires either. No turns or running
I built my own harness. Just been too lazy to open it back up. I just moved from CT to GA. Got 2 weeks of vacation. So will...
Since my ‘Burb didn’t have blinker mirrors, the associated main harness and door harness don’t carry the needed wires. For blinkers and running lights
So I need to run wire taps and run wires to the mirrors
My mirrors also have backup LED spotlights. So I’m going to run a power wire for those...
I bought her used 1yr old.
I know service members overseas can order a vehicle with any option configuration they want. I’ve bought a few of those used. They confounded the experts because they had option arrangements that weren’t supposed to exist. I’ve been suspecting this is one of those
I...
Even though mine is an LT, it was weirdly optioned. I didn’t have turn signal mirrors or the side alerts
But I do have the upgraded audio system, and the host of sonar stuff and lane maintenance stuff
Thx. Good to know
Mainly I’m curious how to get the trim off to wrap.
I need to finish wiring my tow mirrors. So might as well pop the trim off while I have the door panel off
lol...is this a serious post
I had a 2005 Escalade. fun rig. can't hold a candle to the 2015 or 2017 I've had. My 2015/2017 don't have the fancy suspension either that they Esky did either.
Added a camera to the ranch hand. Don’t want to hit anything
For now am using my driving camera to view. I am researching a dash monitor setup. Can’t find something I’m happy with yet
They do have a “hum” at 60+ mph when newer. As they wear it quiets down significantly . It isn’t loud at all. Windows up and can’t hear at all. I’ve always ran Mud tires, so these are quite nice.
I may have taken a mpg hit. But she still pulls 23-24 mpg on the long trips. City is somewhere...
265/70R18 General Grabber AT/2 tires
since I kept the same width, it's the same clearance to UCA as the original 265/65R18 tires. On paper the new size is 0.5" taller. But the tires I bought are E rated and super deep tread. Ended up over 1" taller overall. Speedo is off by 2 mph at highway...
Absolutely. Lol
The bull bar was to keep New England drivers off my bumper in parking lots. I can’t tell you the number of times I had to reset the position because some asshat bumped it
With e brake set, put in drive. If low beams come on you have the weird DRL
If the LED strip comes on, you have LTZ harness. it may just be a build thing. My old LS was optioned exactly like an LT...minus the leather.
But then your pictures show the LED strip and it isn’t that bright. Put...
On my 2017 LT the DRL was the headlight low beams.
The LED strip only energized in park, or when the auto lights sensed it was dark enough for low beams to turn on. Then low beam + LED were on
I reversed that with my mod
It looks like with your 2018 units, we can confirm the LED strip is...
265/70R18
1/2" larger on paper. over 1" taller overall when installed. I had them installed on factory rims. 4x2 Tahoe and then 4x4 Suburban. Perfect size with ZERO rubbing anywhere. Speedo is off by 2mph at highway speeds. about 1 MPG loss. But that is mostly because I'm running Load...
