    Caring for Leather Seats

    i use Lexol cleaner.. miracle stuff for some of the stains I had. McGuires Leather Conditioner. Trying to preserve mine, get them to last as long as possible and bring some life back. Have cracks already. ah well.

    finally got my ripped leather seat fixed

    The leather was ripped, cushion all caved in on one side. Finally got the two pieces fixed, top (leather) and side piece (vinyl). Restuffed cushion. Looks better and seat is much more comfortable.

    Well, kind of finished up this rear end project with new monroe sensatrac shocks, replacing the airride shocks. Air rides are 11 yrs old, 130K miles on them, and the pump doesn't work. Pulled the RTD fuse and put these in. Had the air tools to do it, just not a 21mm wrench, had to score that...

    cool, thanks. yea, hydraulic jack under the hitch, just jack it up about 1" and it looks like other trucks I see around town. Maybe some 1" spacers from summit then.

    can some with a stock yuk xl or suburban measure the height of the rear fender to the ground. Just hold a tape measure from the ground, through center line of wheel as best you can to top of rear fender arch. I am measuring 35 3/4 inches. It looks a bit low to me still. My airride is broken...

    yea, I have got to get some normal shocks. i have the Autoride. New shocks in and the resistor trick I guess to not get a 'service' light on the dash.

    killer. i was hoping it was that easy. any opinions on if I should try to get Z71 springs, if those aer available .. I would imagine new stock springs will be fine and wont have the 130K miles on them like I have, and maybe no rear sag too.
