I really want to get a bunch of buddies together and tackle tge under body sanding as much as possible and then do three to four coats of under body sealer. My father did it to his 1995 desil pickup completely Stopped all rust fromso spreding. Also I just got it into the dealer ship front differential
Seal went so new oil there also my abs keeps rising or happened last year again this year got into an accident bc of it a month ago tomorrow. The solenoids keep getting f'd up also the anti freeze hose and pump went out needless to say they changed the oil and rotated the tires (don't have the time right now) so I'm slowly ferrying new parts lol

Got my 2001 Tahoe from my godparents last may (may2009) @ 91,589 and have now got it up to 101-102,000 miles im not sure how wel they took care of it but it seems to run very well. im just wondering what are some key things i should get tuned up and maybe even replaced to keep this thing running for many more years. I change the oil on time and top off any other things i need to but im not shure what else is needed! Thanks for your tips !

100K is a baby!

100k, definitly do the trans and radiator flush, maybe even a brake fluid and power steering flush. The power steering in mine was making noise at 50k so i replaced the fluid as a first try and it made a huge difference. This is my first Chevrolet, but I have a buddy with over 200k on his tahoe and has done nothing more than keep the fluids fresh brakes. he drives it hard too.

sure, get the POR rust remover and put a new undercoating. And for sure where you live...may be a good spring project :)

just noticed you said this...i have been planning it since last year all i need is time and maybe one of my buddies help and im go for it.

should i sand the rust of then you do the application or what. my neighbor said that sometimes the undercoatings make things worse is this true?>
