Tips/tricks for separating lower ball joint 2018 Tahoe PPV?

When the spot you're applying to starts to glow, it's hot enough. It took me a combination of pbblaster and heat methods and patience

Tips/tricks for separating lower ball joint 2018 Tahoe PPV?

Penetrative fluids, and worst case scenario heating up the spindle at risk of ruining the joint. Combination of these was how I did mine with the same kit. I remember having a hard time as well.

Just Want A Little Extra Sound

Nope, unless you count the ol butt-dyno. But my main goal was sound.

Just Want A Little Extra Sound

I'd suggest the flowmaster pro series 3". That's what I have on my 6.2 with tsp long tubes, cats and 3" all the way out. Even with headers, the sound is civilized until you don't want it to be.

    2017 Tahoe premiere

Just finished changing my 10L80 fluid, pan gasket, and filter last night. Shifting immediately improved. I was seeing slight hesitations becoming more and more frequent, but now it's shifting smooth and sharp at the same time, if that makes sense. Various videos on YouTube that helped me through...

Pictures of Michelin defender on 22 rims

I always forget that I have my phone set to not rotate, so I have a lot of sideways pictures lol. Yes the transports are 22s and steel construction. So my oem tires fit right onto them. My truck came with aluminum wheels and 285/42/22 continentals, which were loud and seemed to lack grip even...

Butters and Sheetz usually have a few pumps with e85, but not always available at every pump.

A bunch of stations in PA carry it, if you're ever out that way. Something about the higher elevation, I think.

Did the dirt king alignment cams today and now I'm kicking myself for not don't them sooner.

Cylinder 1 primary tube needed clearanced from the steering shaft. Alternative would have been to order one(steering shaft) from a Silverado. Just be mindful of any wiring near by.

    Automatic headlights - Sensor adjustment?

I timed mine the other day and it took over a minute of consistent daylight to switch back. Is yours taking longer than that?

    Automatic headlights - Sensor adjustment?

Sounds similar to mine. It's possible that it needs to sense direct sunlight for a set period of time before reverting, not just the first light to hit the sensor. But I've definitely noticed(when driving through a tunnel for example) other vehicles around me revert back to day mode quicker than...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Passenger side had to slide in from the bottom because of my hoses and lines in the engine bay. Driver side from the top, because I didn't want to remove the front drive shaft. **Edit** @Jeff_ forgot to mention that you'll need O² extensions as well, downstream driver side and upstream...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Exhaust continues to evolve. First was tsp long tubes, catted y pipe and oem muffler. Sounded too high pitched and raspy. Now I'm at headers, catted y pipe, and a single flowmaster pro series. Cold starts are too spicy for how early I leave so I'm probably going to put the flapper valve back...

Need part numbers for the individual parts in the Brembo Big Brake kit

I know this isn't a direct comparison, but I just put big brakes on my 2018 Tahoe and the oem dust shields didn't need to be replaced or modified in any way. Are you sure you need them?

    Upgrade my brakes

I've also seen a lot of people swear by wilwood's big brake kits but I don't have personal experience with them.

    Upgrade my brakes

For the 6 piston brakes, 84793057 and 84793058 are the part numbers on rock auto.
