About 6'7". Maybe a little less.
Rubbing is lock to lock, but limits turning radius. Its very annoying. The lift doesn't resolve it. In front of driver side wheel there is a plastic bracket under the liner that needs modified. Mine modified itself by breaking. Both sides behind the wheels the...
I like that the Carbyte can also be used for scan and monitoring. And you can turn on and off the autostop. Not slowing as quick with foot off gas doesn't seem better to me. I don't feel like this vehicle engine brakes more than a non-DFM.
I am not sure "coast longer" tells us dfm is on or off. Benefit of the range is that you can still use another obd device to monitor cylinder activation or other stuff.
What is really happening in 0 cylinder mode? All valves stay closed?

Hey, thanks for your...
Wheel offset, tire diameter, and tire width can have more affect on clearance than wheel diameter. Change factory wheels from +28 to +1 offset and they rub. If you find a stock (or equal) GM 22" tire wheel setup then they shouldn't have any issue.
I am not sure yet. I don't think I like no buttons for seats and stuff. Not sure I like the front light change .

I really doubt it was minor trimming. In my case, the frame extension bracket on the back of the wheel and the bumper support bracket in the front have to be modified or removed.
Right. Would be great to hear from GM. When you see it in person, how stout it is, and it lines up with the frame. It looks like it serves some purpose. Way more than you need for a mud flap. Its stronger than the little braces that hold the fenders on the vehicle.
In my opinion this is not a mud flap bracket. Pretty sure the parts list calls it a frame extension. My thought is that it is intended to protect the cabin during impact from intrusion of the wheel or caving in. I added shims under the outer bolts to get it to angle and increase gap where the...
That plastic cover is a wire harness holder and it just slides onto the bolts. It may indicate someone installed lift spacers and removed them. Its not a big deal. However, that passenger side cover is almost impossible to lift that far without removing a bolt on the left side down the bracket a...
This guy has 2 posts. Makes it hard to believe what he says. I agree at 85 my 5.3 is getting less than 16 mpg but there is wind, grade, etc. What does the 6.2 really do? Any back to back tests I have found show the 6.2 is around 2 mpg less than the 5.3.
I have done all 4 myself to install the lift kit. This style spring compressor works fine.

Its a bit of work to get the front off.
Related to gas mileage. Before I get the disabler, I've been experimenting L9 VS D with the 5.3 in my AT4 that's lifted. I'm not seeing any difference on various drives. The other day I got 24 mpg in L9 with a mix of city and highway average speed in the 60's. It all depends on the road you're...
Since you’ve driven both engines, and I assume you drive them the same. How do they compare performance and gas mileage in your opinion?
I am tempted to trade for the 6.2, but not sure it’s worth it for me.
