    Around here DPS would give you a ticket for mentioning you are a criminal justice major. Texas has been cracking down on tint. Ask your local inspection station. They made it very clear this year that only vehicles maintained by a law enforcement agency would be exempt.

    Really? Mine can do 110. It's hard on the engine obviously, but it'll do it without a tune.

    With all the time you'll spend testing the resistor, you could just change it. They are fairly cheap to replace and I think that it's gone bad by the symptoms you're giving.

    Edge performance?

    The EDGE will help you just about as well as a throttle body spacer. Go with BlackBear. They send you cable to get some readings off your truck. Send it back and they'll send you a new ECM.

    Ok, part of the problem was user error. I noticed that when you turn the a/c off it automatically opens the vent. Simply pressing a button solved that issue. The a/c works on 5 for about 2 minutes then it stops. Go back to 4 and it'll work forever. Not sure what's up. I'm going to replace...

    Thank you, I'll check the recirculating/damper motor in the morning. I'm not sure it's the resistor. The more I read, it sounds like the switch may be bad. It feels solid, but I'm going to pop the panel and see what I find.

    MAF sensor

    Orielly or any auto shop sells a MAF cleaner. Just remove it and spray. I read the directions off the can and it clean it. I didn't really notice a difference though.

    E-85 Tahoe

    You're right. Almost any engine will run on E85. However, it is very corrosive. It'll run... for an unknown amount of time. Eventually all your fuel lines will have leaks, your pump will die, and injectors will malfunction.
