A local mechanic that I trust quoted me between 1400 and 1600. Lots of labor and the parts are expensive. When I told him about the aftermarket soft hoses he said I should give them a shot if I wanted to save the money.
I did replace the lines. Some folks said to remove the old lines and others said to just run the new lines along a similar path and zip tie to the old. I went with the later. So far, so good.
My rear AC lines are leaking on my 2018 Tahoe LT. I am interested in replacing them myself with aftermarkets line from Auto Cooling Solutions. Has anyone done this on their vehicle? If so, how have they held up? How was the replacement process? Any tips or things you would have done...
