    steering wheel/column swap ???

    Hi guys i got a 97 tahoe and my steering wheel has seen better days. I really like the 03-06 wheel with the radio controls . Can I just swap the clock spring &wheel and use a 2500 single stage air bag ? Or do I need the whole column and will it swap out easily? Any help would be great thanks again

    What about the controls? I have pressure in both high and low side but won't kick the clutch in. I also jump d out the low pressure switch and still the clutch won't kick in

    So the cam retard was -18* and got it adjusted to 0*.the truck runs smoother but still nice gonna do a full tune up. The a/c had pressure in both low and high side but the clutch still wouldn't kick in . Use a power probe and power the clutch and it kicks on. But the pressure doesn't change...

    Ok I found a nice 2dr tahoe 98. But my issue is it has the tailgate and not the barn doors. I know its crazy to even think of if but is it possible to swap from tailgate to barn doors ?? Or how about a tailgate from a 2000-2006 tahoe ???

    Are head gaskets common for these trucks to go. I have found a couple for around 3k with 140-160k for mileage . Is it possible to get 18 mpg. On the highway with them stock or do you have to do mods ?
