    Ahhh... That sucks. My Tahoe got totaled in a wreck with a drunk driver and I'm looking at some new trucks but a lot don't have the electronic deal, which is something I think I'll really miss.

    I'm running an Escort X50 Blue, and it's saved my ass so many times. Unfortunately the heat got to it and screwed it up but they repaired it for me for free, A+ for customer service on Escort's part there.

    cant watch dvds while driving

    My Pioneer deck is set up with a relay that senses the parking brake, but it's not connected to the parking brake. How does it get the signal that you're in park/with the brake on or not?

    Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD Review - Complete Stereo Overhaul '03 Hoe

    You really should consider going with the new AVIC X-910, it fixes all the problems that the AVIC F90 still has (even with the new update), and really polishes the UI. My unit is basically the X910 without Navi, but it's a completely different beast from the F-Series AVICs.

    I wish I could help you on that one, but I had basically all the same problems (minus front speaker issues) and it turned out to be a bad HU so I just replaced it. I honestly have no clue. Maybe take it by your nearest local stereo place and just ask them? -Rob

    Yeah, according to my stereo guy you can't change the settings thru the remote, which kinda sucks. I know you can switch songs with it, but you can't navigate the menu with it. I did get the bypass. I have no idea how he did it, but it does work while the vehicle is in motion. ;) I love it...
