I'm working on the upper intake gasket this weekend along with gaskets for the transmission. Guy who had this before me didn't do the work so I had leaks everywhere. To make the mold, I will be using foam blocks and basically sanding those, chiseling away until I make the positive molding. After I will make a reverse mold out of fiberglass then use the fiberglass molding to fill with carbon/kevlar and vacuum-form it until it dries. The actual process will...- PR1NCEC10UD

Kind of what I was thinking. I have some buddies who have a vacuum-form machine, a nut sert gun, and other parts. It also helps that they work in metal and bolt sales so I get metal at cost :P I've not done anything with carbon/kevlar yet, but I've read up on processes and everything...- PR1NCEC10UD

This is more along the lines of what I was thinking. I'm also going to be extending the front fenders by approx. 4" and inserting a 6" Light on either side for increased HID power for driving back roads in the mountains. Let me know what you all think or if y'all have suggestions.- PR1NCEC10UD

pretty much I am looking at making full size body panels. I will throw some sketches together and post them tomorrow. I'm wanting to widen front of tahoe by 4" either side and include fender flares in the panels themselves. I know the insurance cost is low but I still want to do this lol. also...- PR1NCEC10UD
