@petethepug, is there an AC Delco fully assembled front strut for the z55 suspension? If not, is it worth the trouble to buy all the AC Delco pieces and assemble them? How is the full assembled Dorman strut?

There is a video showing how that clip works. It helps to know how and where to squeeze. I think I used a flat head screwdriver pressing the button and a 5 in 1 painters tool to twist the connection off at the same time and while laying on my back
I just fixed this on my 2010 Tahoe. I never topped off gas so I think it’s just an inevitable failure. The charcoal canister under the car is most likely your problem. Be sure to vacuum out the lines to the fuel tank before hooking up the new canister. I posted a very helpful YouTube video on a...

I suspect most go way longer that 75k miles. I have 166k on my 2010 Tahoe and the rear air shocks are likely bad but I rarely notice any issues. You should wait years longer.
