Mike in Round Rock Texas!!!!
Ha!
Got home from work tonight, pulled in and parked, walked to the curb to get the mail, and then looked back at my house and had to laugh. Eco-Prius-tree-huggers would flat pass out at the sheer amount of gas-hogs we have.
The '98 Dodge Ram with the...
Had this issue on my new-to-me 2001 Denali and it was the module that mounts on top of the pump. There is a guy here in Austin that repairs them, $120. Rapid Transit Services. [email protected] Good guy and 24hr turn-around.
Lights are OFF.

No it's just a little mexican interior shop. He cuts and sews them up there. Does good work...have used him for stuff like this and headliners for years.
That said, since this is such a common issue on these...and all tall vehicles, there should be a solid market most places for these...
Just a bump here. Nobody has an ideas here on repairing this? I have the wear here. Looking for repair ideas...or at least away to hide this mess a bit...
Well it's common, you slide in and out over that one bolster every time you get in or out of the truck. Most upholstry shops can replace these panels. Lots of used car lots have this done before putting a car up for sale, it's common practice.
My guy, who I've used for 9 years now, is...
I've got a really good interior guy I've used for years. Have had him do things like this before. Will post before-and-after pics when I start the project.

Not sure yet. Wife wants headrest DVD players installed. I need to replace the one worn panel on the driver's seat and also want to fix the silver trim on the console around the cupholders, it's scratched there. Little stuff.
On the upside my wife Misty just called me. She took the...
Happily my wife loved the finished Denali when I picked her up last night. It really did come out well.
She's driving it up to Dallas today...this will be it's first road trip with us, hope it does well!
Oh and she made me put her Aggie license plate frame on it. I keep telling her we...
Thanks for the replies! I've ordered a set ofg 9-inch screens and they should be here shortly. Hopefully easy to install. Wonder if I can grab power from the console somewhere??
Anyway here is what I ordered. Hope they are not junk...
Wanted to share my "basically done" pics of the Denali from this morning.
I spent all day yesterday on the truck (and all weekend basically). Cleaned under the hood, then bug and tar remover on the lower body (tar on white paint SUCKS to get off!), then compounded, waxed, and touched up the...
First off, I removed all the wood on my '89 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon a few years back, and would have done that job again rather than removing the cracked Clearbra from this Denali. It was that much of a nightmare...
Got home at 7pm and had to go grocery shopping, so did not start on the...
I just went and picked up the Denali from the paint guy. Second time's the charm, front bumper looks MUCH better, and makes the hood and fenders look that much worse!
Now the fun begins. Supposed to be a gorgeous weekend, temps 60's to low 70's and sunny.
Got a window tint...
Someone on here beat me to it! See here: http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27786
This is a really simple repair that makes the truck feel so much better!

Just to share, when I...
Just nabbed some of these at the salvage yards for my 2001 Denali. Great fix, thanks for the write-up.
Just to share, when I went to pull the link/stopper at the junk yard, I noticed that it said RH/RR on it....for right-hand, right-rear. The truck was missing the driver's side rear door...
