Hello All,
For winter I got BFG All Terrains and they are LT tire and are at 50psi. The DCI tells me to check the tires every time I start the truck and I have to press the cycle button 5 times to acknowledge the message. I talked to Michelin and they said to keep the tires at 50 and not lower...
Gotcha. Yea, I may get the J hook style for my 2008 Tahoe. Although I still see new ones with the clip style. Seems weird they did the J hook campaign then still use the old clip style on the new ones.

@Nasty GM, Do you still have the set? What are the part numbers in them. I heard they changed the numbers from what is listed on this campaign.

I have a 2008 Tahoe and occasionally when remote starting, it starts then dies for no reason. Then won't remote start until in have started it manually. No codes that I know of. Any ideas?

Howdy,
So I bought a set of factory 20's and mine had 17's originally. There is a noticeable lack of power with these on vs. the 17's. Is it a computer flash issue? Meaning the computer isn't compensating for the 20's?
Thank you!

Let me know what you find out. Mine has also done this for no reason. Also, I always have to pay a "diagnostic fee" at the dealer to get it looked at.

I've heard two different responses to this. The ticking is normal and some say no. I just went through a bit less than a quart on my road trip with lots of hard driving. I'm gonna change oil and see what the use is with daily driving. Good luck.

I just had the SAME thing fixed. The other guy is right. My alignment cam bolts were loose. I could turn them with a wrench! Had it aligned again and they tightened them down and this solved it.

You normally only have a high idle issue if yours was very dirty and the computer had to learn that your throttle plate was open due to junk and that was the new idle set. So on a new one without the junk it will at first open it to the last known idle which will be too much at first. It should...
I had received a letter from GM for my '08 Tahoe regarding a known TPS problem and if the Reduced Power Mode issue came up they would replace the throttle body. Not wanting to get stuck off the side of the road, I bought a AC Delco Throttle Body off Amazon.com for ~$100 vs what the dealer...
