    Does anyone know how to tear the lift actuator apart. I'm a Psycho and I would like to know what failed. I've look around online. but not seeing any disassembly. I don't want the thing exploding in my face if there some kind of springed jack screw.

    Well I was able to open the door enough to reach the retaining clips and then I pry the actuators off the mounting pins. Then I was able to open the door by hand. Now I just need to replace the actuator.

    it opens when you grab the handle and hit the release switch with your finger. but then stop. it will flex a few inches. but you can also slam it close.

    Don't ever ever ever. touch the throttle body unless you absolutely have too. i drove my for weeks cause a lot people said they same. and it NEVER!! came down. finally I took it to the garage down the street for $50 and less than 5 mins they had me on my way. i have 387000 miles. and she runs great.

    I tow fairly often near max gross with my 2010. And there ain’t no way in the world I would every let my Tahoe get into that heat range. I have the tow package. But that’s why my tranny lasted me 340,000 miles befor I swapped it out. I kept a critical eye on my trans temps.
