    Cost to replace shocks/struts

    There has not been good aftermarket option for the Magride shocks since 2015 for the GM truck platform and probably earlier for the Corvette. So the only decent option id the ACDelco's from RockAuto ~$400 each plus labor.

    Magnaride shocks at the dealer are $900 each, RockAuto sells them for about $400 each. Most aftermarket Magnaride shocks are knockoffs and from what I have read on these forums don't last.

    Check if the shocks were replaced with ACDelco units or cheapies from Amazon? If cheapies then I would not be surprised if they already failed. Save money and take it to your reputable independednt mechanic.

    If you do not hear the air compressor running at strat up then it is dead. Common issue. I replaced mine in about half hour without lifting the truck up and mine is lowered 2/3.
