So I picked up my 2013 Yukon XL Denali with 197k and it’s definitely been a project vehicle. I’ve had it for about 2 months now and put 3k miles on it

When I first test drove it, I thought things felt a little sloppy but got used to it. I was replacing the oil cooler lines and noticed both sway bar end links are gone? IMG_9159.jpeg

Does anyone know why anybody would remove these and not replace them? I think this should help a lot of my sloppy handling for sure

I doubt it’s because they needed more suspension travel for off-roading. More likely the mount point is broken off on the p/s from the water dripping off the a/c drain.

If that’s the case GM makes a repair part that can be welded back on. Deff look into larger sway bars while you’re in there. You won’t know how much you’ve gotten used to the slop until it’s gone.

Both sides are missing the end links… so I’m not sure if it would be the mount point? I’m just confused lol

Are you suggesting to upgrade the whole front sway bar or specifically the links?

the front end links on the gtm900's are known to just "break off" from either just general wear, rust, age,etc
just go buy a couple and put them on and you are good to go.
when I bought mine, one was missing already, others have reported the same from time to time.
