Hey guys have a question here and I suspect this has been my problem all along with my led taillight problems I've been having.

I read that the 2000 to 2002 taillight wiring is different in some way than the newer 2003 to 2006's but the guy didn't say what it was and I've looked and can't seem to find anything as of yet. So does anyone know what it was?

The wiring is only different in the trucks. The suvs are the same...

I believe the bulb locations might be a little different on the suv, but the wiring and bulbs are the same.

The trucks are different because in 03 they made the turn signals alternate with 2 bulbs like the front does.

Yeah I'm having some issues with them. Don't have brake lights with the headlights turned on but do with them on auto. Everything works perfect if I put normal bulbs in. Tried a load resistor aswell. And obviously brake switch is OK to. Thanks for the info il have to dig deeper not sure what it could be

The load resistors should only be used on the LCD turn signals so they dont flash so fast. The LCD stop lights shouldn't need to be touched, they should be plug and play. Are you wiring individual bulbs or new set of rear LCD tail lights?

The load resistor is for the lose of my cruise control which I should have added to the other post aswell. And yes they are led taillights(plug n play) just the reverse needs to be put in.(which mine are also led)
