Yes, they do have a wiggle to them. But you can easily reinforce them. You will see where it flexes a little when you get them. No, they are 4300k.

I'm curious how did you reinforce them? I have the same lights and the wiggle is annoying.

Is there an aftermarket headlight housing already designed for the HID bulbs?(2000 Yukon xl), or is a conversion the only proper way to go?...
I guess I answered my own question by re reading.lol So the upfits in purchased housings are for better projectors....

I haven't seen any but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I've heard the denali projectors will work with hids but don't have the greatest output. If you want 'proper' and good output, a retrofit is the way to go.

I was starting to wonder, I keep seeing these halo things,honestly I don't want or need a fluorescent halo.lol
I was hoping for a nice set of HID lenses and then install the hid setups..Not that easy.lol

Hey, I finally ordered some DEPO housings and I thought I might as well replace my 35w 8000k HIDs for some 55w 5000k. I see a lot of people using ddm kits, but also hidguy.net. Any recommendations?

I just ordered (yesterday) from DDM, that being said I cant wait to get my fogs set up...

What color or kelvin did you order? I'm trying to figure out what the difference between 4500k and 5000k is.

4500k should be pretty close to the color of daylight at high noon(4300k). 5000k is going to have a tiny hint of blue. But just because a seller says a bulb is 5000k, the color is not always going to be 100% accurate. I heard ddm 6000k is more like 8000k, but that's just what I heard.

I'm wanting the most light output I can get, but I've read some post where the 4500k has some yellow in it and i'm looking for a more pure white.
