here's the last pics
hope this helps you...
after the screw is out simply grab the handle and yank "up" a few times.. the panel will pull right up and off

Thanks for the pics. Made things very straight forward. On my 01 Yukon there was a second 7mm bolt behind the door lock controls that had to be removed.

Does anyone know where I can get the plastic U Clips? I was moving too fast and broke a couple today. Searches are turning up empty for me right now.

I got a box of 10 from amazon a long time ago. I forget the part number. Just described as GM panel clips. Worked fine. I never checked the local parts stores. The dealer prices were ridiculous.
