currently im running white led 3157s for my drl lights. i bought the same pair for my parking lights (sockets right next to drl), but they didnt work. ppl say i need certain resistors in the bulb, there are 2 resisters and im not sure why they wont work. im looking to get white leds for parking lts. cheap but liable. where can i get them?

i belive the parking lights are also the turn signal lights as well, the 2 out bulbs alter and the signal lights....is white possible? or am i stuck with amber?

Well, they're both 3157 bulbs. Technically, you could put whites in the turn signals, but you'll most likely get hyper flashing, which is why you need the load resistors to get a normal flash rate. As far as the color tho, I'm not sure white turn signals are even legal

Check fuses and make sure they're seated in the sockets correctly. Also, leds are polar sensitive so if they don't work, flip them around and reinstall, try this first.

Isn't a 3157 a double filament bulb? Why wouldn't you run a 3156 instead in the DRL

Yes it is a double filament bulb. yes you could run a 3156 but it doesn't hurt it to run a 3157. Where I get them from they're the same price and easier to remember what bulb you need if they're all the same.

Yeah if they come on with the keyless entry you have them in correctly. Do they work when you turn on the parking lights?
