I was thinking you could take some old style upper shock bushings and trim them and add washers as needed. They have a 3/8" hole in the center of them. Get the sharp knife ready and don't cut yourself.

Good idea. I was thinking along the same lines. Maybe just look through some different ones at the junkyard and see if I can find anything that fits or can be easily modified. Just need to get it bolted up well enough for it to stay on there. I found some on Amazon that may work also.

Oh, and I'm definitely going to cut myself. If I didn't have scars from working on cars, I wouldn't have nearly as many as I do.

If you want easy and new, you can get those bushings at auto parts stores in the HELP line or some other line they use. Inexpensive.

I ended up using these rubber isolators and they're very squishy. We'll see if they hold up against the elements but they definitely worked to get it reinstalled.

Yikes. Dunno what one for the nbs costs. The plate nnbs is over $400.
