03 tahoe 4x4 issue

So I go out and fire up the rig and shoot down the road when I notice she is in the auto position on the 4x4 switch. I have never put her in that mode or do I recall bumping the switch at any time. I put it back in 2 hi and every thing seams to be fine.

Any body else ever see this happen?

Nope... but it shouldn't have hurt anything you can drive it that mode if you want its designed to switch from 4x2 to 4x4 if it detects loss of traction, rain, snow, etc..
