I have the sunroof option and wanted to install the factory DVD system. Does anyone know if I can install the stock dvd system with the sunroof option.

I would think so. I have a sunroof and a DVD system in my LT. Don't think there would be a difference vs a Z71.

03 didn't have sunroof plus RSE option, 03s were still the 'minivan'/aircraft style inline consoles so it was either.
04s were the first year to have the 'side by side" overhead console that let you have the sunroof and the overhead at the same time
don't know what differences might exist beyond the headliner though.
