have a problem with the transmission waiting until 3k to shift from 1-2, same for 2-3. I haven't taken it fast enough to check on 3-4. ive read several threads involving the same/similar problems, and most are pointing to throttle position sensor. I pulled the sensor and checked resistance and it appears to be a smooth linear range from closed to open. I cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor, changed the trans fluid and filter. still the same problem, any ideas? and there are no codes popping

Did yours still shift as long as you brought the rpm's high enough? I should have checked the solenoids while I had it open. I can't imagine the tranny is going out because it literally started doing this overnight. I had zero problems out of it the day before.

If its the transmission if you time the shifts right, letting off the gas when it would normally shift drops it to the next gear. As a temp fix i'd try putting in new shift solenoids. About $10 each and its a simple bolt and wire plug process that you can see with the pan drained and the trans filter removed. They look like plungers.

The two yellow plugs on the far left are the solenoids

Maybe even swap in a new TCC and a Corvette Servo as an added bonus
