Hey guys,

I saw the write up with the Mark VIII Fan, and that looked pretty good, but do the 05+ electric fans bolt right up to a OBS tahoe? From what I have read they will to the NBS 2000+, but couldn't find confirmation that they are a direct fit to the 2000 and older OBS tahoes.

Thanks,

matt

the obs and nbs radiators are different, so I'm going to assume that's a no.

I read through the write up, seems like a solid choice. i'll start acquiring parts soon. I also think the previous owner put in a colder tstat, so iI will swap that out as well at the time. Temps seem to hover around the 170 ish point. I will probably just go back to OEM temp.

So I ran my OBDII Bluetooth along with the torque pro app today. Coolant actually stayed right around 195 according to that. The gauge in the dash though is much closer to the mark between 100 and 210, making me think it was running cool. Guess it may already have a 195 in there :)

I'm debating if I want to do a single fan or a dual fan. I do like the idea of fans being redundant, especially in AZ where it can get quite warm. My real reason for wanting an efan is so my AC blows cooler quicker. Maybe i'll just put an aux fan on for the AC....so many choices.
