Since finding my front bottom shock mount's rubber 'press-fit' attachment is worn, I ordered new lower A arms / w/ ball joints.

I just suggested the installer, about replacing the upper A arms / ball joints ,also, since his shop will be pulling everything apart anyway.

I figured, with 180,000 miles, .. this would be a good idea. Since, they are in there. ( The shop is a VERY good performance truck shop )...
So, A good idea, .. any suggestions??

If they're a VERY good performance shop, they'll give you very good answers.
Funny you should say that....... They did...... " Usually, it's the upper joints that wear out before the lower.

( The shop )....

When I replaced my control arms at 150k miles, I did both the uppers and lowers. To me, it just made good sense to do so.
