Happy monday and happy Halloween!!!:devilfinger: :ehcapt: :killer:my favorite holiday of the year! upgraded my baby guage wire to 4 guage.

On closer inspection you can see how old and corroded the red wire was. 2 big no no's in electrical. Glad I took the time to redo all my wiring, nice piece of mind. Plus it adds more flow which equals more dbs ;)

Nice work and execution. Super bright.
Thanks, I feel like I over analyze and over engineer stuff sometimes which causes me more time and headache . Probably why I couldn't do this for a living lol
I have two more of these blue leds, thinking of putting them both behind the grille.

You did it again buddy! Built a masterpiece! Looks great, little bright. You'll never be able to hide. Did you wire them to a switch or the parking lights?

Was gonna wire them up to the ignition with a bypass but now I think I'll just wire them straight to the battery so I can leave them on while the truck is off while I run into the store or at shows and meets.
If I forget to turn them off no harm no foul, could leave them on for a month and still not lose any battery juice lol.

I saw only a couple sets on a fb page called headlight junkies. I'm sure there's a write up on theretrosourse.Com but haven't looked yet

Been anxious to see how I did this, and @Fosscore too lol. After a few different brainstorming ideas I came up with this. Most of you would cringe drilling into the hood but it had to be done to have these flush and create a good clearance.

Got these for brackets since I can't reach behind the hood sub frame to tighten.
Off to home depot again.

Had to drill two small mounting holes and a half inch hole for the led bolt shafts to fit through. Tightened it onto the bracket then used another nut as a spacer cause the shafts is too long. Later I'll shave down the shafts and give more room to make these 100% flush
Hooked it up to the auto start kill ground. Then power directly to battery.

Measured and mounted. Installed this is what gives full illumination on the engine bay and deep down into the bay for most any repairs, or just showing off engine mods...which I have none lol

Would look much better with a clean engine bay
