Wonder how they’d do with HID in them. You can buy a kit for cheap and swap out the bulbs and add ballasts. You never know.

I haven't gone down the road at night yet. The high beams aren't in projector lenses and light up the whole garage door, not just the bottom half. The openings in the back for the low/high beam bulbs are rubber dome shaped that pop into the back of the housing. 6616d7af6c53e12076ecefcf784a97f2.jpg

Very nice cut off pattern on the new headlights. If I wasn't going to be selling off my Yukon in the next day or two I'd figure out how to wire the led into the DRL. The first thing that comes to mind is that the BCM may not like the circuitry of the LED lights running through it's brain. I don't want to create any new problems as I'm don't have time to chase down new ones.

For inquiring minds … It only takes a few screws to take off the bumper cover.

these trucks bcm are dumb headlight wise that is why you never get a warning that a headlight bulb is out all they do is apply power or turn it off, there is no canbus or anything. same for the brake lights, the only thing it monitors is the resistance for the blinkers and brake pedal switch for cruise control, this is also why you don't get a warning when a brake light is out. It may (maybe) detect a miswire/short in the brake lights and prevent cruise from working but it won't warn you, cruise just wont work.

I have Silverstars in my OEM and they are fair at best. At least the factory reflectors are better than the lousy projectors my Silverado HD had.

Shows $ 350 on Fleabay.....

Drove it tonight. These lights don't appear to light up the roadway as much as my OE lights with Silverstars. It may be because they are smoked slightly and probably came with cheap bulbs (or the combination of both).

I think I'm going to pickup a pair of better H7 bulbs

I installed these today. I went with removing the entire bumper, just made it easier. I turned on/tested them before re-installing the bumper, and found one of the parking light bulbs was burnt out. I had to run by the parts store and pick up a 194 amber bulb. I'll get beam pattern on my garage door pics tonight to compare with the stock lights.

I still may need to adjust them987b3d7535a2ae1b18a2a5c6b42d27fb.jpg8892c2ff5af27f5c9df30037284fd497.jpge7cb48d23e40a27b2f4a560e1db68bf8.jpg845c589b101defd50bc6e46dcbb6e98b.jpg2b4370384d949ce6f5024dfb64f28665.jpg1cf8be534fbb6439fbd31af63a5619e4.jpg152b1288892ba8cce5aeaf488e497f53.jpg0c3ef3c99099620ad7d7912b26107b7b.jpgb6d01dceb822b1345c97431c1089cd07.jpg838ad525de3dc7ed8332c99528ddfe14.jpg

that beam pattern is for right hand driving it's correct

It is not correct. The "step" on the cut-off line (which by the way the left one is all jacked up), steps up to the right which is for LHD vehicles, DOT standard. For RHD vehicles the step would be in the opposite direction which is ECE standard.
