Yes, felt braking was with less effort and people actually noticed the bigger calipers. So this is a worthwhile upgrade? My front brakes started grinding.

I have 2006 Z71 w/ stabilitrack. Can anyone confirm that I need the 6 line set vs the 5? My research shows Goodridge 14196 vs. 14175.
My research shows the same and the Goodridge 14196 is in my shopping cart.
If anyone would like to weigh in, I am going back and forth between which severe duty rotors to go with for the front and rear. I mostly use my Yukon for towing, so I am interested in what while have the best performance with a load over time.
These are my current contenders:
Front (2007+ Rotors)Is it worth double the price for slotted rotors? I don't want to cheap out over $200, but if I can save it to put elsewhere in the Yukon I'd be happy to.
ACDelco 18A1705SD Specialty Performance Rotor Assembly for Severe Duty - $102 eachRear (2005 Rotors)
Bendix SDR5582 Fleet MetLok Severe Duty Brake Rotor - $48 each
For the pads I am planning to go with the Bendix Fleet Metlok Semi-Metallic sets for the front and rear over regardless of which rotors I end up with. I'm not too concerned with the potential for brake dust from the semi-metalic in favor of the grip over ceramic pads.
Front: BENDIX MKD1092FM Fleet Metlok Semi-Metallic SDR - $37 / set
Rear: BENDIX MKD834FM Fleet Metlok Semi-Metallic SDR - $27 / set
They cost about the same as stock replacements iirc. Might as well get the stainlessYes, the stainless lines are worth every penny.
I would say don't but Advance Auto Parts stuff because it looks like they don't know what fits what. I looked and their application guide for those rotors is wrong, they should all be the same for 2007-2014. If you want to be safe, go with the part numbers mentioned earlier in this post.i have 02 Tahoe LS 4.8L.
i found local guy who is selling his front rotor.
he said it fits to 2009+ tahoe.
part number: G12555SD
https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/carquest-wearever-frontline-brake-rotor-g12555sd/10718019-P#
according to AAP, it won't fit for 2008 but fits for 2009.
will this rotor work for this brake upgrade mod?
added: i was also looking 2008 tahoe front caliper(brand new) for my 02.
now it says it won't fit for 2009 tahoe.
i thought 08+ has same brake system?
