If you're swap'g all the doors, see if you can get an inexpensive decibel meter off Amazon to do a before / after comparison. The Eski has BS1 / Insulation acoustical package in the build sheet. The Esky does not have the wind noise our 08 Yukon generates near the windshield. The glass may be different too.

I have that rpo code on my Denali.

I think it's just a thick grey underpadding that lines the firewall and extends into the door hinge area of the front doors

Find a Escalade and look above the molding! There’s a little indention that is the length of the door. Just something I’ve wanted to do! Idk if I find a black platinum front clip may swap it all o we haha

I saw an Esky today and noticed the body line in the door just above the side molding... never noticed it before... learn something new every day... lol

why the doors? the door shell is the same as your Denali will have the same chrome handle, the esky may have a exterior molding but that's about it

The doors are not the same. The Escalade doors have the black window moldings/appliques so that whole part of the door is different and the glass is better and shaped different. The glass isn't acoustical, unfortunately, but it is quieter and rejects more heat than the glass in a Tahoe/Yukon even though the windshield, 1/4 glass, and rear glass are the same. The Escalade doors also fit better, most of them don't "bounce" or make noise when you close them like the Tahoe and Yukon (even the Denali), just a nice solid thud. The Escalade also has auto-up windows in the front doors if 09-14 (the window motors, wiring harnesses, and modules are different) but one thing you need to keep in mind is that the Escalade has no place on the door panels for the heated/ventilated seat buttons on any year.
