@Ryans Rebel There is a connector on top of the frame on the driver side that comes loose. You can't really see it, you just have to feel around. Its blue in color, if by chance you get your head up there. Mine came un plugged and about a million other peoples have too. I only know the color because a guy posted a pic on another forum. I'm not real sure how it works its way unplugged but it does. 2 min job and you will be set.

Exactly where along the frame? Front end, driver door, pass door, or rear end? You say frame so I would assume you mean on top of the main frame rail?

Its behind the rear axle. Its on the driver side close to the top of the shock. My truck is an avalanche so its like a suburban. Not sure if yours is the same as mine, being the shorter model. Just reach up there and you will feel it. Remember, you only messed with something close to the shocks, the problem has to be somewhere close to them. Its on top of the frame rail IIRC

I can't find the thread I saw back in the day with the pics.

@Ryans Rebel did you get this issue fixed? Was the plug the problem?

Yes! To my amazement, the plug was undone. I plugged it back in and no longer have the dash message. I don't understand how that came unplugged while I was changing out the shocks. It seems so far away from where I was working. I just can't imaging that I knocked it loose. Maybe the timing was just a coincidence.

Thanks for the lead!

Good deal! I like having conclusions to posts so others will find the answer. I'm not sure how it happens either, it just does.

I replace the rear's with they Arnotts last year and so far so good. This year I think I need to change the fronts. As soon as I find a good deal online for them I will pull the trigger and get it done
