One thing to consider. The 07 was the first model year, and as always there were "bugs". A fair amount were with the active fuel management, which the 6.2's didn't have (denali).
I bought a 07 denali Xl last year, 61k on od. I have 86k now, only minor repairs, nothing major, and all done by me.
Things to look for:
1. See if the autoride (air) suspension is working, and holding air. I just replaced mine, wasn't holding air. If you load back, or stand on back bumper with key in ignition and on acces., you should hear the compressor fill shocks. If too light, get a few friends to help.
2. I took mine back to dealer and they replace interior b-pillar panels and one interior door pull. On door pull the chrome was flaking off and the interior b-pillars panels didn't fit well. There are TSBs on both.
3. Check your heated windshield button prob doesn't do anything. Gm recalled them all and just removed it. I added it back in, the company that makes them, rebranded and started up again. AlphaTherm, I think.
4. Check for oil leaks, I have a minor one now.
5. Check defroster tabs on back glass, notorious for coming off.
6. Check underbody for rust, especially under spare. Problem area, I had to POR-15 mine.
7. I've replaced both front cv axles. Check the boots/gators for cracks, leaking grease.
8. The Denali is close to needed new plugs. Kind of a pain to change, especially pass side rear. See if they'll change for u.
9. The stop lamp switches go on these. Easy check is if cruise control works.
10. Check/eject the nav DVD and see if it's been upgraded.
