How many rpms should it cleanly rev to while setting in park? I think something is wrong, it stutters and shakes every so often while both idling and running down the road. Turning the ac off makes no difference.

I have ran two cans of seafoam thru and tried to rev it up while parked and it would not go past around 4k rpms.

Any of this sound familiar? Thanks!

Sounds about right for park since it is an auto tranny. All of my other GM cars do the same.

Someone else can say why GM does this as I don't know.

The Park rev limiter is set to 4000RPM, in the NNBS at least(My 2002 Silverado would rev to 6000RPM). If you get a custom tune this is something that can be tweaked to your liking.
