I'm working on rebuilding a 4l60e out of our 08 Tahoe. Teardown went well for my first time, putting together a parts list, and I'm inspecting a few hard parts that barely concerning to me. Posting pics for reference as soon as I figure out how to haha

I don't pretend to know anything about automatic trannys but I seem to read looking at drums for cracks and stuff more so than gear teeth issues.

seems there's a few common things to look for damage in each different tranny. I don't know what that is thou on yours.

Yeah, I used his teardown video for reference. I just am not sure about if these are within any sort of tolerance. I've never seen known good parts as this is the first time I've taken one apart

You go man. Slush boxes, or transmissions in general are not in my scope. Things have come a long way since there were only Haines manuals.

Took apart the pump. Looking to order the boost valve but I saw there's more than one option. Will bust put the calipers when I wake up but just wanna make sure I'm measuring it properly

Looks like part no. 77898e-16k. Do I order new springs or are they reusable? That pin that sits inside the body behind it, is that reusable as well? Thanks

If you're asking someone in particular, tag that member in your message:

Tip: if you want to tag someone, either "reply" to that member's post (like I did here with yours) or 'tag' him using the "@" symbol and start typing the member's name. A picklist will come up and you can select the name from that. If you don't use the reply or tag function the member may not see your post, and won't receive a notice that he was mentioned.

Nobody in particular, I've only been a member for a few days so it's kinda an open question. If you're familiar, feel free to enlighten me with any tidbit of information as this is my first attempt. If all goes well, I'll take on a second 4l60e, maybe even a third
